We offer a wide range of general notarization services tailored to meet your unique needs.

Traditional notarization involves a notary public physically witnessing the signing of documents or verifying that the signer willingly acknowledges their signature — a process known as an acknowledgment. It may also include jurats, in which the signer swears an oath or affirmation attesting to the truthfulness of the document’s contents. Another form, copy certification, allows a notary — when permitted — to verify that a photocopy of an original document is a true and accurate reproduction. As with all our services, we respect your privacy and do not retain copies of your documents.

In-person electronic notarization (IPEN) is a modern method in which the notary and signer meet face-to-face while handling electronic documents. This approach preserves the personal presence of traditional notarization while delivering the convenience of a signed digital document.
Instead of paper, a secure platform and digital device are used to manage the process. The customer uploads the document in advance, allowing for smooth electronic sharing and signing during the appointment, in compliance with Virginia law.

Remote online notarization (RON) is a secure, modern way to notarize documents remotely. Signers and notaries complete the process via a secure video conference — no in-person meeting required. This option is ideal for clients who are traveling, located out of state, or prefer the privacy and convenience of handling documents from home.
Our RON services use a Virginia-approved technology provider to ensure identity verification, document integrity, and a secure digital record. In accordance with Virginia law, a secure audiovisual recording of the notarization session is retained — but not the document itself.

Examples of Acceptable Identification:
These forms of identification must be current and valid for notarization purposes. All IDs must include a photo. If the signer does not possess one of these forms of identification, they should consult the notary for alternative acceptable options—such as the use of credible witnesses, where permitted.

To notarize a document, the signer must be physically present. This requirement ensures that the notary can verify the signer’s identity, witness the signing, and confirm compliance with all applicable state regulations.
You will also need to upload your documents to a secure platform. Specific instructions for uploading will be provided when you schedule your appointment.
You will also need a reliable internet connection and a computer or device equipped with a camera, microphone, and speaker. Please ensure that your setup is fully operational before your appointment.
We use the trusted OneNotary.us platform to deliver secure, seamless IPEN and Remote Online Notarizations. It supports identity verification, payment processing, and encrypted data storage — ensuring a smooth, confident experience from start to finish.
We are commissioned, certified and insured.
